Our area of specialization is the assessment of damages in personal injury and fatal accident litigation.
We are typically hired by law firms who are representing the plaintiff or defendant following a motor vehicle accident, medical malpractice, or any other wrongful injury.
Our role in these matters is to prepare expert reports outlining estimates of the plaintiff’s loss of income resulting from injury (or a loss of dependency following a fatal accident). Our reports can also include estimates of the present value of a plaintiff’s future care costs, based on the evidence of a cost of care expert. When required, we provide expert testimony in court in conformity with duties outlined in the Rules of Court of the applicable jurisdiction.
We also provide rebuttal evidence in response to economic reports prepared by other experts, as well as estimates of economic damages in class action lawsuits.
In addition to our reports, or as an alternative, we offer more informal advice to our clients over the phone, by email, or in person.
